Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of the Feel August website and the telehealth psychiatric care we provide in California. By using the site, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Scope of services
Feel August provides outpatient psychiatric evaluation and medication management by telehealth to adults aged 18 and older who are located in California. Our clinicians are board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners licensed in the state. Visits take place over a HIPAA-compliant video platform. We do not provide emergency, inpatient, or crisis services.
Telehealth consent
When you schedule a visit, you acknowledge that your care will be delivered over live audio and video, and that this involves the electronic exchange of personal medical information. Telehealth offers real benefits, including better access and convenience, and it also has limits, such as the inability to perform a physical examination. You may withdraw consent and stop telehealth care at any time.
Eligibility
Our services are available to adults aged 18 and older who are physically present in California at the time of their visit. By scheduling, you confirm that you meet these requirements. We may decline or discontinue care if your clinical needs call for a level of support we cannot safely provide by telehealth.

Appointments and cancellations
You can schedule a visit through our website or by contacting our care team. We ask for at least 24 hours of notice to cancel. Late cancellations and missed visits may be subject to a fee, which we will explain before your first visit. We may update our scheduling and cancellation policies with reasonable notice.
Fees and insurance
We accept select insurance plans and offer self-pay options. Your coverage and any copay depend on your specific plan. You are responsible for understanding your benefits and for any costs your insurer does not cover. Self-pay balances are due at the time of service. We cannot guarantee that a given service will be covered by your plan.
Privacy and HIPAA
Your privacy matters to us. How we collect, use, and protect your health information is governed by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and California law. Please review our Privacy Policy and the separate Notice of Privacy Practices we provide to every patient before their first visit.
Intellectual property
All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, images, photography, and design, belongs to Artful Living Psychiatry & Wellness Nursing and Clinical Care Inc and is protected by intellectual property law. Please do not reproduce, distribute, or build on our content without written permission.
Limitation of liability
